Antenatal Support

The perfect package for supporting mothers-to-be throughout the exciting pre-birth period. Not only will this help to carefully monitor the health of mum and baby, appointments are frequent and booked at the convenience of the family.

Appointments are typically every 4 weeks until 28 weeks of pregnancy, then every 2-3 weeks until 37 weeks of pregnancy and following that, weekly until birth. What’s more, the same midwife can usually be seen throughout the antenatal period for consistency.

This means that children, partners and those closest to the family can be present as the birth choices, queries and preferences are discussed.
This expert care will not only help to ensure a positive pregnancy and birth experience, but will also offer reassurance and advice to calm any unwelcome anxieties.

Birth Care and Support

The Birth Care and Support package has been created to ensure the most positive birthing experience possible.
A familiar and carefully matched midwife will be at hand from around 37 weeks until the birth.
Whether it’s comforting hand holding, reassuring advice or a calming support, the midwife can also help to explain the birth choices available and assist with medical-related questions. What’s more, the midwife can be there to support mothers-to-be during every step of their labour, so they need never feel alone.
This means that parents will have total piece of mind throughout one of the most special and memorable moments in their lives.
Whether it’s a hospital or home birth, or services such as birthing pools and gas and air there are options to suit every requirement and wish list.

Postnatal care

The postnatal period is an exciting time for new parents, however it can also be challenging for even the most experienced mothers.
Postnatal care packages are available to reduce the strain of caring for a newborn and help parents adjust to life with a new baby.
Packages include visits from a midwife in hospital and/or at home to conduct physical checks on mother and baby as well as providing the ultra-important physical and emotional support in the weeks following birth. Assistance with feeding, advice about baby and physical checks will be provided as part of the package.
An intensive breast-feeding support package is also available, which involves daily visits for 7 days to help mothers adapt to the perfect routine and combat any challenges, whilst providing them with any necessary support.
