Feature: Slimming World Recipes!

I get so bored with my Healthy Extras. Sometimes I find it hard to fit them in or use something I don’t really want. Mainly inhaling 2 HiFi bars and then not feeling fulfilled. So, I came up with this tasty recipe for something a bit different. 



Ginger Biscuits

INGREDIENTS:

40g Porridge Oats (Healthy Extra B or 7 syns)
½ Tbsp Sweetener
1 Tsp Ground Ginger
1 Tsp Mixed Spice
1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 Egg
Few drops of Vanilla Essence
Few sprays of Coconut Fry Light (or Buttery Fry Light)




METHOD:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Put the porridge oats into the food processor and whizzzzzz until they are fine.

Then put the oats into a bowl and add all the ingredients in.

Mix until all combined.

If you prefer strong flavours, double up on the spices.

Once mixed, grab a baking sheet line with baking parchment.

Couple of sprays of Fry Light and then put tablespoons of the mixture onto it.

Bake in a preheated oven for approx 15 mins, or until golden.

Leave to cool and then enjoy!!!
